Norway – April -2026

Norway is a very special location to us as a family especially with my wife having a Norwegian mother! We had a one week break recently cruising the Norwegian Fjords with their long, narrow sea inlets and steep rock walls carved out by glaciers over 2.5 million years ago.

Unfortunately drone operations were not feasible which brough my handheld Nikon camera into play.  For a long time, I have wanted to see and capture the Northern Lights, and this was the perfect opportunity. Long hours on a cold and windy deck were endured to capture these Norwegian images which I think were well worth the effort.

It is very photographers dream to capture the Northern Lights, and I finally managed to achieve my dream. Thankfully, as a drone operator and photographer, I get to work within an industry I love.
